In this class I learned many things about lifelong wellness, I learned what wellness is and its six components. I learned how to maintain my physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and environmental health. I also learned how to set goals and achieve them with health. I learned different terms for exercise and why it is important to excersize.
I will apply everything to my life, this information gave me more motive to exercise and eat right to stay healthy because I know the benefits from it and what could happen if I don’t exercise. I will apply the goal making sheet or exercise log to my life by using it to achieve my goals to live a healthier lifestyle. I will apply not only the physical health to my life but also the emotional, spiritual, social, and environmental. Sometimes you think health is only physical but really you need to take care of your self in all aspects, and I now have a better idea of how to improve all areas of my own personal health.
I intend to continue to exercise and eat right to prevent ir reduce my risks of diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. I also plan to continue eating right and exercising so that I will increase bone mass to reduce my rish of osteoporosis. Another few reasons are for easier aging, increased longevity, and improved psychological well-being. And the obvious reason to stay in shape and lose weight!
